The same agent,as many times as you need.

Add a second Claude Code, a third Codex or another Antigravity, each with its own account, name, color and model. Run tasks on all of them at once, and every panel says which copy is doing the work.

Three copies,one desk.

Every copy of an agent runs its own tasks at the same time as the others. Personal fixes a test while Work waits on your approval and Client writes the docs, and each panel names the copy in charge.

  • A task holds on to the copy it starts on, so signing one account out stops only its own tasks.
  • Give each task its own worktree and parallel copies never edit the same files.
  • The New task picker has one button per copy, tinted with its color.

Its own account,or the same one.

A new copy starts on the login the computer already has. Choose Use its own account and Deska gives it a folder of its own, then opens the agent's sign-in in a terminal beside the window.

  • A copy that shares the login is still worth having: give it another model, reasoning effort or default mode.
  • Each copy gets a name and a color: one of six swatches, the agent's own, or any color you pick.
  • Deska never holds your passwords or tokens. The sign-in stays on that computer.

Know what is lefton every account.

Under Ask Dex, a gauge shows how much of each account's plan is left, named after the copy. Open it for every window, when each one refills, and a warning when your pace would run out first.

  • Claude Code and Codex windows update live from every turn.
  • Cursor shows the dollars left in its month, and Antigravity is metered on macOS.
  • Copies that share a login share one gauge.

What each copy keeps

A copy with its own account is a separate sign-in, not a separate computer.

Kept apart
Sign-in, personal settings, plugins, MCP servers, cache and history, in a folder Deska creates for that copy.
Set per copy
Name, color, model, reasoning effort and default mode. A task can still pick another copy or model before it starts.
Shared by every copy
Your projects, their files and their rules. Every copy works in the same repositories you open in Deska.
Not a sandbox
A separate account runs as you, with the same access to your computer as the first copy.

Add a copy

In Settings, on the computer in front of you.

  1. Open Settings, then Agents

Your agents lists every copy on this computer, with what Dex and new tasks use at the top.

  2. Add agent, then Another account

Pick the agent you want twice. The new card is named after it with a number, ready to rename.

  3. Name it and pick a color

Call it Work, Client or A. The name and color are how you tell it apart everywhere it runs.

  4. Use its own account

Deska gives the copy a folder of its own and opens the agent's sign-in in a terminal. Finish it there and the card updates by itself.

On another computer or a Cloud box, Tools & accounts does the same. On the phone, each computer's Agents screen has Add another account.

Dex knows them by name.

Rank your copies in Fallback order for Dex and he uses the first one available, in that order. Ask him to start a task on Work or Client and it lands on that copy, and every reply says which one answered.

  • Its own account, really its own

A copy with its own account keeps its own sign-in, settings, plugins, MCP servers and history in a folder of its own. Your projects and their rules stay shared, and the login you already had is never moved.

  • A task stays on the account it started on

Change the default whenever you like: a running task keeps its copy to the end, so a long run never switches accounts halfway. When one account reaches its limit, start the next task on another.

  • Named wherever it works

The name and color follow the copy into the task header, the Inbox, the New task picker and Dex's replies, on your computer and on your phone.
